HOUNKONNOU NOÉ CONSOLAS - BENIN

Noe Consalas Hounkonnou is a young man from Benin who has been committed to the education of children and teens for a very long time. Today, he runs the biggest children’s network in Benin of which the renewal of mandates is currently ongoing in 77 communes in Benin. He drives over 800 children and teens thanks to his Coach team that he coordinated and trains. Equally, he created a network for teens, Mezahab, and sacrifices his means for children’s fulfilment. He has been named Young Citizen Activist of Benin by the JCI Cotonou Soleil and certified Shaper of Social and Financial Education for Teens and Young People by Aflatoun International. His commitment to children involved a Beninois/Beninese child at the country summit reporting on the CADBE (African Charter on the Rights and Wellbeing of the Child) [in] Ethiopia and at the currently ongoing regional teenagers’ forum in Liberia. Thanks to his leadership, 12 Beninois/Beninese children have attended the Benin national assembly to present pleadings against the deputies. Known as Pa by the children, Coach Noe is an tireless defender of children’s rights in Benin, who has visited over 850 children in orphanages and schools across Benin for voluntary training for their development.

Driving a represented team  everywhere on national territory isn’t without it’s difficulty, but Noe Consalas always encourages his colleagues with quality moral support. He doesn’t blame his colleagues in front of partners and he goes down to the communities to settle disputes in person if he has any. Even if his health is failing, from his bed he still drives things without complaining or he designates circumstantial representatives until his recovery.
