Chinmay is a high school student in Australia who at just 17 years of age has inspired and impacted many. In September 2025, Chinmay Co-Founded Thadus CodeLabs - an Educational Technology startup. Although it's a business, Chinmay is social minded. With his leadership, the group provides their coding products (offline app and courses) for free to underserved communities across the world. They maintain their commitment to UN SDG 4: Quality Education since they believe that opportunities in life and access to education shouldn't be based on the lottery of birth. Instead, these are fundamental human rights which must be protected. They have reached 300+ students across Sri Lanka, India, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Uganda.
Furthermore, their products are also very important in providing equitable access to education. They built their own fun offline coding app to empower youth who don’t have access to the Internet. Their courses are also hard copies and are designed for students to complete themselves without a teacher (many teachers don’t understand IT/computing).
e was that a certain community in Kampala, Uganda didn’t have access to basic devices such as laptops. Without these tools, education couldn’t be delivered. Chinmay immediately organised a 3-way international effort where a global charity provided the laptops, Thadus CodeLabs provided the education and a Ugandan social enterprise helped set it up on the ground. Through these diplomatic, socially conscious efforts, it’s clear that Chinmay is a strong leader.
