Upon relocating to the Netherlands, she wasted no time in immersing herself in various organizations dedicated to social justice and environmental sustainability. She became actively involved in Soroptimist Netherlands, World Nature Fund Netherlands (WWF), and UNICEF, leveraging her skills and expertise to organize campaigns, raise funds, and effect positive change on a global scale.
As the youngest and only immigrant woman serving on the Participatieraad Lid in Gemeente Losser (Municipality Losser), she assumes a pivotal role in advising local authorities on matters of governance and policy. She has invaluable insights and unwavering dedication to promote gender equality, eliminating gender-based violence, and ensuring access to quality education and clean water and sanitation.
She firmly believes that change begins at home and extends far beyond geographical boundaries. Her tireless efforts to challenge the status quo and foster inclusive, equitable societies serve as a beacon of hope for countless individuals around the world. Through her advocacy, she continues to inspire others to join the fight for a more just and sustainable future. In recognition of her contribution, she was honored with the prestigious titles of Most Inspiring Twente Woman 2020 in the Netherlands and Youth Icon of the Year 2022 by the RSTCA Foundation under Women with Vision in Nepal. Additionally, she utilizes her creative talents to write period poems and delivers compelling speeches at various events, inspiring women to embrace their strength and resilience.
