Abdulmujib Yusuf is a Nigerian development practitioner and the Executive Director of Nature’s Heart Foundation Action for Development and Empowerment Initiatives (NHF ADEI), a youth-led organization advancing community development through initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
Through NHF ADEI, Abdulmujib has designed and implemented programs that empower marginalized populations, especially women, girls, and youth in underserved communities. His initiatives have reached several communities across Northern Nigeria, impacting hundreds of young people through digital literacy and Girls in Tech and AI training programs that promote inclusion in technology and future workforce opportunities.
He has also led climate action initiatives such as the GreenGlowUp Africa campaign and the Plastic RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) project, which mobilize youth and community members to address environmental challenges through awareness, community clean-up campaigns, and sustainable waste management education.
In the health sector, Abdulmujib has coordinated tuberculosis awareness and screening campaigns targeting hard-to-reach communities where access to health information and services is limited. These outreach efforts have improved awareness and encouraged early testing and treatment.
Despite challenges such as limited funding, difficult access to remote communities, and low digital literacy levels, Abdulmujib continues to mobilize partnerships, volunteers, and local stakeholders to sustain these interventions. His work demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusive development, youth empowerment, and community-driven solutions that create measurable social impact and contribute to sustainable development in Nigeria.
