Ms. Khan is ambitious humanitarian and development professional having diversified portfolio in programme operations, budgeting and planning , project development and management ,knowledge management, policy and strategy development and analysis, sustainability evaluation , statistical and econometric modeling, climate finance , climate and disaster risk finance (CDRF), risk insurance, carbon markets, GHG accounting (carbon accounting) , sustainable finance and auditing involving robust financial review / analysis, effective presentation / communication, clear and concise professional writing, optimal team management, capacity building, adversity quotient (AQ) and leadership skills.
Ms. Khan is an acclaimed writer and publishes in academic journals as well as mainstream print and electronic media. She has the privilege to receive, ACCA Pakistan, Member Advocacy Award 2024 for Promoting the ACCA brand via her contributions to the global accountancy profession and advocacy for excellence in February 2025.
She has contributed as technical expert to rationalize the National Voluntary Report of Pakistan for Midterm Review of the Implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. She is also privileged to establish the National Disaster Risk Financing Strategy for the government of Pakistan and frame the economic impact assessment segment of the Natural Catastrophe (NAT-CAT) Model of government of Pakistan.
She is an occasional guest speaker and delivers lectures on different aspects of sustainable development. She is an active member of national and international academic and professional platforms and is passionate to participate in activities that facilitate better understanding of the impacts of climate change and disasters on the most vulnerable areas and communities, to enable better response at national, regional and global level.
