Hindolo Jaia is a youth advocate, SDG activist, and medical student at College Of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) University of Sierra Leone driving transformative change in community health, with a focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). His work directly advances SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by addressing critical gaps in youth-friendly health services and information.

Through targeted awareness campaigns, peer education, and digital advocacy, Hindolo has reached over 1,000 adolescents across underserved communities — equipping them with accurate, stigma-free health knowledge and empowering informed decision-making.

He is the founder of an innovative, scalable SRHR outreach model that repurposes a locally adapted three-wheeled vehicle (“kekeh”) as a mobile health platform. The initiative integrates audio-based health education, free contraceptive distribution, and referral pathways to partner health providers. Designed with inclusivity at its core, the model incorporates assistive features for visually and hearing-impaired individuals, ensuring equitable access to essential health information.

Working within constraints of limited resources, cultural sensitivity, and persistent stigma, Hindolo has demonstrated resilience and strategic leadership — building NGO partnerships and pursuing private sector collaboration to sustain and scale impact.

His long-term vision is to institutionalize mobile, community-driven health solutions that expand access, reduce inequalities, and improve outcomes for marginalized populations across Sierra Leone and beyond.
