Lilia Touil is a French jurist with a double master’s degree in International, European, and Digital Law. Raised in the Paris suburbs, her lived experience shaped her early awareness of systemic inequalities and fueled her long-standing commitment to education, equal opportunity, and justice.

Alongside her legal studies, Lilia has been actively engaged in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, especially in the field of education, through organizations such as The ONE Campaign, The Global Partnership for Education, Theirworld, and Plan International France.

As an education advocate, she defends the idea that access to quality learning is the foundation for self-awareness, civic participation, and social transformation.

Lilia has represented both France and the European Union at the United Nations General Assembly, carrying a message of dignity, inclusion, and the right to belong. Her conviction is clear: “Where we come from should never determine where we can go.”

She recently founded Oui Legacy, a nonprofit initiative that affirms and explores cultural legacies — human, urban, and often marginalized — to promote memory, recognition, and shared belonging.

Currently preparing for the Paris Bar, Lilia continues to bridge law, education, and civic engagement to serve a more just and inclusive society.
