Oreoluwa Ojo is a Nigerian youth leader, feminist advocate, and social entrepreneur whose work centres on advancing gender equality, youth participation, and inclusive development across Africa. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Her Story Nigeria, a youth-led organisation aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Through Her Story, Oreoluwa leads a vibrant, volunteer-driven community of over 2,000 young people across seven African countries. The organisation leverages dialogue, skills-building, and community-based action to address structural gender inequality. Key initiatives include community dialogues held in six cities with over 480 participants, public speaking and advocacy cohorts training 50 young women per cycle, and an entrepreneurship incubation programme supporting women-led small businesses with mentorship and seed funding. Several participants have gone on to register businesses and secure external grants and pitch competition wins.

Oreoluwa has also led climate adaptation workshops for rural women farmers, equipping them with water purification tools and supporting the formation of local women-led associations, and spearheaded #Pad100Girls, an annual menstrual health initiative that has reached over 600 secondary school girls with sanitary products and education, while also engaging boys to reduce stigma.

Despite challenges including limited funding, volunteer burnout, and operating across diverse contexts, Oreoluwa continues to build sustainable, people-centred solutions. Her leadership has been recognised through fellowships and awards from Vital Voices, the Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund, Apolitical Foundation, and others.
