Tolulope Oguntayo is a social entrepreneur with over five years of experience empowering women across Africa. Through her organisation, Women Empowerment and Inclusion Network (WEIN), formerly Lead Footprints Africa, she has directly impacted over 3,000 women through targeted programmes, events, and advocacy initiatives.

WEIN initially focused on addressing gender-based violence, creating awareness and support systems for affected women. 

However, after reaching thousands of beneficiaries, the organisation identified economic dependency as a key root cause of gender inequality and violence. This insight led to a strategic pivot towards economic empowerment as a sustainable solution.

Today, WEIN is committed to advancing women’s economic inclusion by supporting entrepreneurship and cross-border trade. Its mission is to empower 10,000 women entrepreneurs across 10 African countries, fostering financial independence and scalable business growth. The organisation has launched several initiatives aimed at equipping women with business knowledge, access to networks, and opportunities for expansion.

One of its recent milestones is the launch of a community forum for female founders, CEOs, and co-founders. This platform is designed to build one of Africa’s largest and most impactful networks of women entrepreneurs, enabling collaboration, mentorship, and resource sharing.

Tolulope continues to drive sustainable impact by addressing systemic issues and creating pathways for women to thrive economically and socially.
